Road Trip Wildlife

Seeing the local animals was as much fun as seeing the other scenery. Unfortunately, we didn't get pictures of the coyotes at the Grand Canyon, or the vultures along the roads.

I thought the rabbits were supposed to be bigger in Texas?

Ooooh! It's a Longhorn!

Danger? Now you tell me!

A cute little bat landed on the wall of the Tower
at the Grand Canyon, so I took a picture of it.

Mule deer were snacking along the side of the road.
(also at the Grand Canyon)

Shannon's favorite birds.

Again...

Small chipmunk at the big Black Canyon
of the Gunnison.

The deer at the Royal Gorge are looking for a handout.

Hi, what'd you bring me?

A hungry squirrel in Colorado.

A hungry hummingbird in Colorado.

Bufo the toad.
